WINTER WONDER: PAPER GOODS

For the invite, we knew we wanted something simple, subtle and understated.

Because our quantities were so small, hiring a letterpress printer didn’t make any sense. We already invested in an L Letterpress machine and found a company that produces inexpensive polymer plates, so we were able to hand letterpress the invites onto thick, cottony Lettra paper. A combination of classic typefaces paired with blind debossed hand-drawn tree boughs and snowflakes conveyed the mood of our party to guests. To finish the look, we tied three different ribbons in a bow to add even more texture.

We also created food name cards and a cocktail menu with design elements from the invite. We letterpressed the borders and hand wrote the text.
